Planning your itinerary - guided/chauffeured tours:  Whether your stay with us is one day or one week or more and you would like some help in planning what to do, for a fee based on the complexity of your plans, Annie and Christopher would be delighted to help organize your itinerary, car hire, chauffeured/guided tours.

Bicycle hire:  We have two mountain bikes and helmets available for our guests at £7.50 each per day or any  part of the day.  The White House garden is on the banks of the Kennet & Avon Canal which links Bristol in the West of England with Reading and, via the River Thames, to London.  Bicycling along the canal towpath is permitted (but please take great care near other cyclists, walkers and people fishing) and provides some of the most picturesque views of the locality. 

 
Payment is requested either by credit/debit card (see below) or by cheque (made payable to Mrs. A.M. Nicholl) with banker’s card, or in cash.

We accept any of the following forms of electronic payment:
MasterCard, Visa, Maestro, Solo, JCB.

Deposit:
Where time allows – and to guarantee your booking – we require a deposit of £25 per room for one day or £50 per room for two or more days, to be paid within 7 days of your verbal or e-mail booking.  This deposit will, of course, be deducted from your bill during your stay with us.  

The deposit can be paid either by credit/debit card (see above) or by cheque (made payable to Mrs. A.M. Nicholl) and should be received within 10 days of your verbal or e-mail booking. 

Damage:
We reserve the right to charge at cost for the repair, refurbishment or replacement of any damage or breakages caused by a guest or a guest's pet.

Cancellation:
If you have to cancel or postpone your booking, please advise us as far in advance as possible.  However, we reserve to right to retain your deposit if cancellation is made within one week of the date of your intended arrival/reservation.
